HydroPASSAGE project roles:
• Responsible for transferring lab-developed technologies into the market including idea capture, intellectual property asset development, negotiating business terms and monitoring impact. This includes managing commercialization strategy, developing partnerships with research and industry, and monitoring the progress of existing licensees and partnerships.

Sara Hunt is a Commercialization Manager with the Technology Deployment and Outreach (TDO) Office at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). She is responsible for identifying and moving several of PNNL’s growing energy innovations—new processes, technologies, software, and more—into the marketplace where they can be applied for the betterment of our everyday lives. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a Master of Science degree in Energy Policy and Climate Science from Johns Hopkins University. She is a member of the Licensing Executives Society (LES), Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), Battelle Commercialization Council, and the DOE Technology Transfer Working Group.
