Ryan Saylor is a graduate researcher in the Aquatic Ecology Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His research focuses on fish bioengineering and vertebrate eco-physiology. He has experience performing lab-based studies examining fish biomechanics and how it relates to their ability to avoid injury during downstream passage and fish interactions with hydropower turbines.
